In happier Enchanted news (or not so happy, depending on your opinion of this issue), both Amy Adams and Idina Menzel have made comments this past week that Kevin Lima (the director) has said there will be a sequel, but it hasn't been confirmed officially and neither of them have been asked yet. I've mentioned before that I'm torn on the issue - I think it more or less kills the "happily ever after" idea from the movie... but I'm really selfish, and I just want to see more of these characters, so I don't care. XD

Okay, so really not much to update! I passed my audition, thankfully, and as I predicted, was put into the hiring pool! So now I just gotta wait for a call. Been kicking back and relaxing - sleeping in, playing video games, getting odds and ends for the apartment. I started making a muslin for my "That's How You Know" dress last night, and it's coming along well! Of course, I don't have a table to put my sewing machine on yet, so it's all pin-basted together. :p

I went and saw Enchanted again this week, with vinsaneboy!! Woo! Downtown Disney is still showing it once a day. What's with the random cow in Giselle's woodland home? It's all like bunnies and squirrels and deer and chipmunks... and a cow. We went to Adventurer's Club after that... I'd never been there before, but that place is freakin' awesome! The jokes are HILARIOUS (and sooooo not what you expect to hear in a Disney establishment), the booze is good (Kungaloosh = YUMMY), great theming... LOVE.

I've also spent the week watching the Flipper episodes that were put up on Hulu (or here on Veoh if you don't have a Hulu beta account...unfortunately, all available only in the US)... OMG, I need this show on DVD nooooow! And then I found out that it IS out on DVD - in Japan! Does that bode well for a US release? *crosses fingers* (I'm sorely temped to get the Japanese DVDs through Amazon.com since I have a region-free player... alas, they're like $85-90 for half a season!)

My Wii gave me a big-ass scare today. I couldn't get the power to turn on! A couple of mornings ago we lost power for a bit (I was asleep, but my clock was blinking when I woke up) and I was afraid that it had gotten fried, even though it's on a surge protector. But unplugging everything for 90 seconds and then trying again worked! Phew! It woulda been a bitch to fix, I think - since mine's a used system, I couldn't register it and I imagine I would have had to pay for the repairs myself. *hugs her now-working Wii and goes back to playing Lego Star Wars*

SciFi Channel had an X-Files marathon on yesterday, but I didn't realize it until the last episode of the marathon was already half over. :( Ah, well, it's been years since I saw "Field Trip."

I finally got Christmas cards done - YAY! They're coming people, really, they are! :D And a huge thank you to everyone who's sent one! (rory_elizabeth - OMG, LOVED the fic!! It was really, really sweet! :D)

I finally finished another drawing! Go me! The idea of Giselle getting into the Christmas spirit is adorable, so I did holidaydress!Giselle. I drew this one during my lunch break the other day, then scanned/cleaned up/colored it in Photoshop. She's a bit too short, but IMHO it's my best tablet success so far. :D

Yes. I did it. I finally broke down and wrote an Enchanted fanfic. This is my first fanfic in... *checks ff.net* ... SEVEN YEARS that I've actually finished. GO ME! :D But, well, we just got a few inches of snow today (woo! snow day off from bookstore!job!) and I was suddenly very inspired. :D

Went and saw Enchanted again last night. I am still dying of the squee. And crying at the extreme lack of fanfic (I've only seen ONE! :(). Oh, lordy, there's so many fic possibilities for that movie, it's mindblowing. I can't write, but I can draw... ;) I also need to go raid Netflix for Amy Adams movies, 'cause she freakin' rocked. And I found a pattern today to make a "That's How You Know" dress. Now finding the right fabric, that part will be a real bitch! :P

Oh, and for those fans in need of teh squee... a bootleg of The Scene has been posted on YouTube! XD OMG SO AWESOME IT KILLS ME. HUGE HUGE HUGE SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN IT. (not sure how long it'll be before YT kills that one! XD much thanks to boston_princess for passing the link along!)

So I serenaded my otters while I worked on Sunday. I sang "You Can't Stop the Beat" and Denali cam running over and started squeaking at me. Then I sang "Happy Working Song" while I cleaned the porcupine holding next door... and when I looked back, the otters were makin' mad otter whoopee. THE OTTERS, THEY LIEK MY SINGING. XD

Also? Otter In A Bucket? CUTEST THING EVAR. (Denali, playing in the only "pool" she could find in porcupine holding while I cleaned her bedroom out. I have BadCellPhone!video and photos, alas, Photobucket is being a meanie-poo head.)
