Splurged a lot this week... I bought a DS, 'cause I just felt like it. :P Still need to pick out some good games for it, though. I picked up Harvest Moon DS and Age of Empires already. I also was tempted by Borders 40% coupon this week, and dropped $50 on books. Mmm, sweet paper-y crack. And I still feel dirty paying full cover price. HPB, you spoiled me!

[info]ariellen and I hung out at MK for awhile on Tuesday... until a massive storm blew in (I got pictures from TTC of just how BLACK it was over MK) and we high-tailed it to DTD. We went to see The X-Files... just as much love the second time! Can I just say again how much Mark Snow's score in that final scene ROCKS? Now I've been kicking back and watching episodes from seasons 6/7/8. Mmmm... sweet. shippy. goodness... (We'll just forget that horrid love letter thing in "Trust No 1" ever happened :P) I need to hit up Gossamer and reread some of those old fanfic classics ("Tempest," "Generations," "The Magician," OMG, way too many!)...

I got Candlelight Processional! I'll be in the alto section, 'cause I decided to take the low end of my range rather than the high end. So come see me if you're in Florida for the holidays!

I came home from work yesterday and thought "my front door looks weird... wait... I never had a screen door before!" Apparently I do now. :P

Oh... and since tonight is preseason game 1... GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!

That whole series freakin' ROCKED. I can't count the number of times I've read the whole thing. There was always talk of another book coming, but it never materialized. :( That's gotta be one of the most classic X-Files AUs EVER.

Oooh yay for video games and books! Hehe ;o)

OMG, classic XF fics!! It's been YEARS since I read any, but I remember so many of them! I think I first stumbled on them in '96 or '97, maybe? I know I was in high school and I just like...devoured everything on the 'net that I could find ;o) Love it! Am going to have to go back and read some of those now!

I'm going back and rereading the whole "Generations" series now... I was SO addicted to that when it was still coming out! I'd forgotten how corny it was... but DAMM, it's squee-worthy!

omg, that storm was INSANE. my friend justin had us CONVINCED it was going to turn into a tornado. and even after all that, not even a freaking DROP of rain. WTH, weather? WTH???

Somewhere in my brain, I always hoped that the ONLY reason that e-mail said that is because Mulder wanted anyone intercepting that e-mail to think "that can't be Mulder, he'd never write like that!" and disregard it. :P

There was one could that really LOOKED like it was a forming tornado! :P It totally wasn't... but can you imagine how much panic that would cause? :P "Plan C" anyone? :P (I'm still curious what Splash's Plan C evac would be... we're so far from the tunnels that that wouldn't be a very viable solution...)

Jeez Harvest Moon DS is one tough farming game! *and I cannot believe you actually play Harvest Moon, too? :D* It's much more difficult than the GameBoy, PlayStation or PSP ones...

And LOL at the screen door thing :D

It really is! I played the Super Nintendo version long ago, and that one was much easier! :P I'm still barely started with it! I'm still a bit confused on some of the resource stuff, though. I guess that just takes some playing time to sort out.
