Comeon ewe knew this was gonn ahppen eventually! The good news is Idina and Kristen have repeately said they would do a movie if it happened under the right circumstances. I think it's too early for a movie and by the time they get around to it they'd be out. Hope they don't force celebs into these roles.

Oh, I figured as much. I guess I just hoped it wouldn't. :P I just feel like it's not going to have the same spark on a movie screen as it does on stage. It just can't be as thrilling to see Elphaba fly, ya know?

I'm honestly a bit unsure about having Idina and Kristin do it, simply for the reason that the camera is FAR less forgiving of age than the stage. When they're far away on stage, it's much easier to pull off 18 than it is with a camera right in their face. But more than that, I have full seeing all the different actresses, and it would be great to see someone new. I agree, I hope they don't go the celeb route. Hell, I'd love to see a relative unknown!
