Kirsten update!

...okay, so there's really not much to update. I'm unpacking like crazy, and my room looks like it got hit by a tornado. All the crap I had in my itty-bitty studio? Yeah, won't fit in my room. :P So there is massive cleaning out and rearranging going on. Took a break this afternoon to watch Rent. I think it's nearly impossible to watch that one without trying to sing along. Especially "La Vie Boheme" because it's just too damn catchy.

But ZOMG WICKED WITH [info]muldy ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!! I have the tickets on my bulletin board by my laptop, and they stare me in the face every time I look up. :P

And EEEEEEE!! OrcaLive is finally back!!! Now I can get my killer whale stalker crack again! Eeeee! And just as I type this, I'm hearing little squeals in the distance! Damn, now I wanna go whale watching while I'm up in Vancouver. :P

EDIT: OMG!! They're chatting up a storm!! Not sure what pods... looks like a lot of them are A pod, if the latest update on the site is anything to go by. But other than that, there may be a mix of A, G, and I pods...

EDIT #2: Okies! Minute and a half clip of tonight's chatter is up! :D It's still going. They're having a regular old party up there around the north side of Vancouver Island!

EDIT #3: Added another short (30-sec ish) clip of a very distinctive vocalization. I love that one - it just cracks me up!

wow! you can ID orcas pods by sound??!

I listen Orca Live now too. I didn't know about it before, hehe.

Nah, I wish! :P I think Kim can do that for at least a few calls, though. They mentioned in their last update that those pods were in the area.

I'm addicted to Orca Live every summer! :D It's a bummer that it took so long to get up and running this year, but I'm glad it's up now!

I've done it a couple of times in Hawaii, San Diego, and Seattle, but it's been like five years since I've gone! :P Although I did see bottlenose dolphins along the shore a few times in San Diego, too.

Hehe sounds kind of what my room looked like when I came back up to University. Boxes everywhere ... I didn't even know where to start. Isn't unpacking fun :P? lol

Squeeeeeeeee I'm so jealous of you getting to watch Wicked a third time! I wish I could see it again but I don't think I'll have the money. :( Oh well at least I saw it once! :D

Haha, it's amazing how much stuff a person ends up with. When i had to clear otu my room to decorate it, I swore i was never moving house because there was no way I was moving all my crap. It would take 4eva!

Omg, RENT is LOVE, baby! I finally saw it while I was away and bought a copy to bring home. La Vie Boheme is such a catchy song. I sing along to that, One Song Glory, Light My Candle and Out tonight =D

Wicked!squee!!!! hehehe. How many times will this make it?

It took me like two full days to pack up all the crap in my apartment, and I think it'd take even longer to pack up all the stuff in my room here! :P

Heee! I'd have WAY too much fun doing karaoke with "Take Me or Leave Me." I love that one. :P And we walked around Disneyland once singing La Vie Boheme (only the family-friendly parts ;)).

This will be trip number three!!! :D
