So, news on the job front, finally! I got a call back from the place up in LA. Unfortunately, they needed someone who could start sooner so they couldn't hire me. But apparently they REALLY liked me, and already talked to another company about me! This one's up near Oceanside, and does the same sorts of stuff - he highly reccommended it, and works with them a lot. Yaaaaay! So they referred me there and I called and left a message. *crosses fingers*

Wolf Center was fun today! The weather is GORGEOUS, so I spent the morning outside fixing up the garden there. Also did a bit of membership database maintenance, and helped pick out the pictures that are going on the walls in the main education room. Ended up leaving pretty early, 'cause the staff headed out early today.

The maintenance guy came while I was today to replace my tub drain, which had been the problem. So I go in to look, and my tub totally confuses me now. I have no idea how to plug it, like to take a bath! LOL Not that I really ever do anyways, I just laugh because I'm confused by my own bathtub. Also, there was a scrubby pad and a pot sitting there. The scrubby pad I get, 'cause they were working with plumbing and all. But the pot left me scratching my head. So now you see the picture: me, stading in my own bathroom, confused as to how to use my own bathtub and wondering why one of my pots is sitting next to it. Hilarity!

I think I'm actually gonna get around to updating my DeviantArt page today. GO ME! Even have a new print to add - not that they sell much, but whatever. :P I wanna clean out some of the old junk from my gallery there that I don't like anymore. Hmm.

Also, the 10.5 sequel is coming soon. My beer is ready and waiting for the requisite drinking game! :P *high fives the WDWMagic people that participated in the last one*

Lol! I can just picture you standing there all confused. And yeah, what exactly would they need a pot for?

I have yet to figure that out! LOL! My best guess is to try and control any dripping while they changed out the drain thing. :P

Hoping it works! :D I've figured for awhile now that the biggest drawback at the moment is my availability, so hopefully that won't bite me in the rear again here. :P

I'm hopefully gonna be employed - my guess, though, is that I'll run into the same problem again: they want someone now, and I'm not available til late May, so no deal. :/

I probably shouldn't. I was looking through my sketch books the other day and a lot are unfinished. And then I found this one Aladdin and Jasmine piece I drew that I ended up changing my idea because it looks waaay different than I intended. Like...different context intended....

Congratulations on the recommendation; hoping the best for you! I'm glad you made such a good impression and it sounds like it's paying off!

On a completely unrelated note, instead of studying, I came across your July 17 pictures in the disneypictures community and my eyes are teary. :D A few of my friends on the CP were from Phoenix, AZ and also went July 17 but their pictures from that day were at home. :P But we did get to see them in an interview with camped out guests that they had on the portal! :D

Awww! July 17th was SO incredibly amazing. I'll be very surprised if I ever have a better day at Disneyland like that. It was sentimental, it was fun, the crowd was the most pleasant, wonderful bunch that I've ever seen there... *sigh*

Congratulations on the recommendation!! Even though you didn't get the one job, you should be very proud that they were so interested in you and recommended you to another group! That is so awesome! You should definitely follow it up. Good luck with the job hunting and keep us posted!
