The Orlando move stuff is kicking into gear! I gave my notice at the bookstore today - I'll be there through the end of the month. It was kinda sad doing that. :( I'm looking at apartments now and starting to e-mail people on Craigslist looking for roomies. If anyone here has good apartment recommendations near Disney or knows someone there looking for a roommate, let me know! I'm hoping to move a month or so from now, if I can get my butt in gear. Still undecided on flying or driving, though - each one has its drawbacks...

I'm almost finished with my Giselle dress! I've been making the pink one that she wears at the beginning of the movie. Pretty straightforward strapless dress - just gotta tinker a bit with the fit, get the light pink trim to look right, hem it, and then add the ribbon. :D Got a wig ordered tonight, too, so I'm almost set! :D

Still loving the Grey's! Just finished up through 2x07 now. And in the bit with Derek and Addison on the waterfront talking about the little view scopes? I squeed like a maniac... not because I ship them (I SO don't) because my Seattle Aquarium was in the background. I was bouncing up and down squeeing about my otters. Me = DORK. I LOVE their attention to detail! In one shot of the hospital's waiting room, I even saw a pamphlet for Tillicum Village. Mmmm... lesser-known Seattle tourist traps... XD

I gotta say, though... the aerial shots they use of the city that include the Kingdome? LULZ. Dating your stock footage much? I remember watching that demolition in person from my friend's dad's office in the Columbia Tower (tallest building in Seattle)... EIGHT YEARS AGO! XD There's some rockin' footage of the big implosion here (the last shot of that clip was shot from the same building we were in, I think, just a little higher up). Too bad I can't find footage of the aftermath... the crowd of onlookers on the street running from the cloud of dust and debris was worthy of a Godzilla movie. XD
